Ancillary & Allied Health Professionals
We are looking for Ancillary Service Health Professionals to work in the San Diego healthcare community. You must have successfully completed a diploma program and/or carry current Certification and Licensure as appropriate and required by the state.
The following are included in Ancillary Service Health Professionals:
Ancillary services can be classified into three categories such as diagnostic, therapeutic, and custodial. Some examples are, supplies and laboratory tests provided under home care, audiology, durable medical equipment (DME), ambulatory surgical centers (ASC), home infusion, hospice care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), cardiac testing, mobile lithotripsy, fitness center, radiology, pulmonary testing, sleep centers, kidney dialysis, dietary & environmental services.
Experience in specialty health care environments such as clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, hospice and palliative care, family practice, mental health services and beyond is desirable.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide a wide range of healthcare services to support the work of a primary physician.
- Completed a diploma program and/or certificate as required by state regulations.
- Practice experience in your area of specialty.
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR.
- ACLS certification.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and patient care team members.
- Basic computer skills.
- Professional, caring approach.
